Paul Kenny, Retirement Planning Council 

Paul Kenny spent more than 34 years in the pensions industry before being appointed as Ireland’s first Pensions Ombudsman in 2003. He retired from that position in May 2016. Paul was a founder Fellow of the Irish Institute of Pensions Management, a Director for ten years of the Retirement Planning Council of Ireland and its Chairman for three years. He has written and lectured extensively on pensions and related matters.

Maeve McCleane, Chief People Officer, Lidl

Maeve joined Lidl as a Trainee District Manager and progressed quickly and took over as Personnel Manager in 2006, with responsibility for Payroll & Personnel Administration.  Prior to joining Lidl Maeve studied Business Studies & Leisure Management in DIT (now TU Dublin).  In June 2013, Maeve moved to international headquarters in Germany – initially responsible for Employer Brand and thereafter also Engagement. She gained valuable experience working with HR colleagues across 30 countries developing and implementing our global HR strategy. Maeve returned to Ireland in January 2016 to take up the reins as the first Chief People Officer.

Estelle joined Brightwater in 2004 and set up its Brightwater Executive Search arm in 2011.
She has extensive experience in managing scale ups and personally manages senior management hires across Brightwater’s SME and multinational clients.
In June 2017, Estelle was appointed to the Group board and in September 2018, she was part of the senior team that led the MBO of Brightwater Group.

Dana Paraschiv, Pensions Authority

Dana Paraschiv joined the Pensions Authority in 2018 as Assistant Head of Supervision and Enforcement. Prior to joining the Pensions Authority, Dana worked in supervision and regulation of energy markets with the Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU) and in policy development with the Department of Environment, Climate and Communications.

Feargal McKenna, Moneycube.ie

Feargal is co-founder and head of corporate at Moneycube.ie. He has spent over 20 years working in the financial services sector across corporate banking, debt advisory, and relationship management roles. He spent the majority of his time in these roles working with AIB Capital Markets and Westpac Institutional Bank across Europe and Asia Pacific before returning to Ireland in 2016.

Claire Louise joined the Aviva Life and Pensions team in 2006 and has responsibility for the Master Trust and SDIO proposition. In 2019 Claire Louise created the Aviva Member Education Programme for Master Trust schemes. Claire Louise holds full QFA, RPA and Professional Certificate in Compliance from the Association of Compliance Officers Ireland.

Moyagh Murdock, Chief Executive Officer, Insurance Ireland

Moyagh Murdock is the Chief Executive Officer of Insurance Ireland. Previously she was the CEO of the Road Safety Authority, a position she has held since February 2014. Prior to taking up the CEO role in the RSA, she was Chief Operating Officer for Bus Éireann after having first joined the company in 2007 as the Deputy Chief Mechanical Engineer with responsibility for the fleet maintenance and garage operations. Originally from Newry, Co. Down, Moyagh graduated from Queen’s University Belfast with a B.Eng. Mechanical Engineering. She also holds an MBA from Dublin City University and a Certificate of Professional Competence in Road Transport Operations Management.

Ian joined Zurich in 2013. Ian’s current role is as a Head of Investment Solutions where his main responsibilities include producing investment commentary and insights, helping to ensure compliance with key regulation and legislation, and speaking at Zurich and Industry events. He is the current President of the Irish Institute for Pensions Management, a CFA® Charterholder, a CAIA® Charterholder, and holds a Masters in Economic Policy Studies from Trinity College, Dublin.

With more than 40 years of pensions industry experience under his belt, James Skehan was head of pensions with New Ireland for 20 years. He is also the Retirement Planning module lecturer on LIA’s Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning – the gateway to the CFP®.

Recently he expanded his remit in Davy to a Head of Investment role overseeing the investment proposition to direct to consumer and intermediary clients.

Mark joined Royal London Ireland in 2019 as Pensions Proposition Lead after 18 years at Aviva Life & Pensions, most recently as Pensions Sales Manager and previously as the Pensions Propositions Manager. He is a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA), and holds an MSc in Marketing from Stirling University, Scotland as well as a BA in Business and Legal Studies from University College Dublin.
